The Fourth Kind is an upcoming Science-Fiction-thriller directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, and starring Milla Jovovich. The film is a documentary reenactment set in Nome, Alaska, and deals with alien abductions. The title is derived from J. Allen Hynek’s classification of close encounters with aliens, where the fourth kind denotes an alien abduction.

Dorian Gray is a British film adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s 1891 novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. This version is directed by Oliver Parker, written by Toby Finlay (his first screenplay), and stars Ben Barnes as Dorian Gray. It was released in the UK on 9th September. The film began shooting in summer 2008 at Ealing Studios and locations across London and wrapped in October. The film received a £500,000 of National Lottery fund by the UK Film Council’s Premiere Fund. This is the third film to be made by Ealing Studios in 2008 alongside Easy Virtue and From Time to Time.

“Children of the Gods (Part 1 & 2)” is the pilot episode of the military science fiction television series Stargate SG-1. It was written by producers Jonathan Glassner and Brad Wright, the pilot was directed by Mario Azzopardi. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rated it PG after getting edited into film format in 2009. Earlier in 2000 the original was released and was rated (by the MPAA) as R for a scene of nudity.

Green Lantern: First Flight is a direct-to-video animated film adaptation of the DC Comics Green Lantern mythology. Centering on the first mission of Hal Jordan (Christopher Meloni), the first earthman inducted into the Green Lantern Corps, the film is written by veteran DC Comics animation collaborator Alan Burnett, produced by Bruce Timm, and directed by Lauren Montgomery. It is the fifth in the line of DC Universe Original Animated Movies released by Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation; with the most recent releases being Batman: Gotham Knight, and Wonder Woman.
