Polysics (or POLYSICS) is a Japanese new wave/rock band from Tokyo, who personally dubs its unique style as “technicolor pogo punk”. It was named after a brand of synthesizer, Korg Polysix. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo.

Malcolm McLaren (born Malcolm Robert Andrew Edwards, 22 January 1946, London) is a solo artist, and most famously, former manager to the New York Dolls and the Sex Pistols. McLaren was born to Pete McLaren and Emmy Isaacs in the suburbs of postwar London.

M.I.A. was a 1980s punk rock band from Orange County, California. The band’s sound was generally hardcore and thrasher, though they produced more melodic and progressive sounds in their later albums. Allmusic called the band “one of the 50 best So-Cal punk bands of the great early-’80s second wave explosion.”

The (International) Noise Conspiracy is a rock band formed in Sweden in the late months of 1998. The line-up consists of Dennis Lyxzén (vocals), Inge Johansson (bass), Lars Strömberg (guitar), and Ludwig Dahlberg (drums). Up until 2004-05 guitarist/organist/keyboardist Sara Almgren was also a member of the band.
